Agreement to terms

By downloading, installing, or using PetMax ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of service

PetMax is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to transform photos of pets into fun animated videos. The Service includes:

• Uploading pet photos
• Selecting video templates (dances, funny reactions, and more)
• Generating AI-powered videos in standard or pro quality
• Saving and sharing generated content

Account and access

Anonymous accounts

PetMax uses anonymous identifiers rather than traditional accounts. Your anonymous ID is stored on your device and links your purchases and content to your device.

Device transfer

Your purchases and generated content are tied to your device. If you change devices, you can restore purchases through the App Store, but previously generated videos cannot be transferred.

Purchases and credits

Credit system

PetMax operates on a credit-based system. New users receive free credits to get started. Video generation costs vary by quality level: standard quality videos cost fewer credits than pro quality videos.

Pricing

Credit packages and subscription plans are available in the App. All prices are in your local currency as determined by the App Store.

No refunds

All purchases are final. Credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If a video generation fails due to a technical error on our end, no credits will be deducted.

Subscription terms

If you purchase a subscription:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store settings
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use PetMax to:

• Upload photos containing humans, nudity, or sexually explicit content
• Upload photos that are violent, harmful, or depict animal abuse
• Upload photos you do not have the right to use
• Generate content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or exploit the App
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Resell or commercially exploit generated content without permission

We reserve the right to refuse service and terminate access for violations of these terms.

Content ownership

Your content

You retain ownership of the pet photos you upload. By uploading photos, you grant us a limited license to process them for video generation.

Generated videos

Videos generated by PetMax are yours to keep, share, and use for personal, non-commercial purposes. For commercial use of generated content, please contact us.

Our content

The App, including its design, templates, and underlying technology, is owned by PetMax and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Generated videos will meet your expectations
• The AI will produce perfect results every time

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetMax shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PetMax and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload to the Service

Service modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
• Change pricing for credits and subscriptions (existing purchases remain valid)
• Update these Terms with reasonable notice

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Termination

By you

You may stop using PetMax at any time. You can delete your data through the Settings screen.

By us

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Conduct that we believe is harmful to other users or the Service
• Any reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PetMax regarding the Service.
