PetMax ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service").

PetMax lets you turn pet photos into fun AI-generated videos, including dances, funny reactions, and more.

By using PetMax, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information you provide

Pet photos

When you use PetMax to create videos, you upload photos of your pets. These photos are:

  • Stored temporarily to generate your video
  • Deleted from our servers within 30 days of generation
  • Never shared with third parties for marketing purposes

Information collected automatically

Anonymous identifier

We generate a random anonymous ID stored securely on your device. This ID:

  • Links your purchases and generated videos to your device
  • Does not contain any personally identifiable information
  • Cannot be used to identify you as an individual

Usage data

We collect anonymous usage data to improve the app, including:

  • Features used and actions taken
  • App performance metrics
  • Crash reports and error logs
  • Device type and operating system version

Purchase information

When you make in-app purchases, transaction data is processed by Apple and our payment provider (RevenueCat). We receive:

  • Confirmation of purchase
  • Product purchased
  • Anonymous transaction identifiers

We do not receive or store your payment card details.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Generate AI videos from your pet photos
  • Process and fulfill your purchases
  • Improve app performance and fix bugs
  • Analyze usage patterns to enhance features
  • Provide customer support

Third-party services

We use trusted third-party services to operate PetMax:

  • RevenueCat - manages in-app purchases and subscriptions
  • Supabase - securely stores generated videos and temporary image uploads
  • Sentry - helps us identify and fix app crashes and errors
  • Vexo - provides anonymous usage analytics to improve the app
  • AI video providers (OpenAI and others) - generate videos from your pet photos. Your photos are sent securely to these services solely for video generation and are not retained beyond processing

Data retention

  • Pet photos: deleted within 30 days of video generation
  • Generated videos: stored until you delete them or delete your data
  • Usage analytics: retained in anonymized form for up to 2 years
  • Purchase records: retained as required for accounting and legal purposes

Your rights

Access your data

You can view your generated videos and purchase history within the app.

Delete your data

You can delete all your data at any time through the app's Settings screen. This will:

  • Remove all uploaded photos
  • Delete all generated videos
  • Clear your purchase history link
  • Reset your anonymous ID

After deletion, your data cannot be recovered.

Data portability

You can save any generated videos to your device's photo library before deleting your data.

Children's privacy

PetMax is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Data security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
  • Your anonymous ID is stored in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain)
  • Server infrastructure uses encryption at rest
  • Access to user data is strictly limited and logged

International data transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any international transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last Updated" date above.

Continued use of PetMax after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
